Event Summary
Perth 4 WD and Camping Show
Nestled on the banks of the Swan River, this large outdoor show was well represented, with a huge variety of products and accessories on show. The John Hughes RV team put on a great display of Sunliner Motorhomes alongside the new range of Sunliner Caravans, the first opportunity for those in the West to view the line up. We had excellent weather, plenty of people looking through the product range, and just to kick of the show with a bang, the guys sold one of the new caravans on the very first day! The rest of the show went really well proving that the motorhome and caravan industry is extremely strong in Western Australia.
Bendigo Leisurefest.
Well the weather may have been excellent in Perth, but for Bendigo the weather didn’t hold back one bit. We started out with it being dry and hot for the setup day, and the following Friday. Saturday the wind from hell, blew through the entire show, making everyone duck for cover and hang onto everything, even if it was bolted down. Dust was blown everywhere and thus everyone had to do a spring clean both inside and out! Next it absolutely poured turning all the dust to mud, and creating ponds around all the displays. On Sunday the sun came out once again and fortunately dried everything out so much that the dust appeared again.
That all said, the attendance at the show was remarkable, and certainly credit has to be given to those that continued to look through the displays during the worst of the weather. The feedback over the show was again very positive with many of the customers not previously having had the opportunity to see the Sunliner caravans or the new evaluation Mitsubishi Fuso Motorhome. The general consensus was everyone loved the new layout and style and given the built in features the price was also well received.
